"जहाँ चाह वहाँ राह" इस कथनी को चरितार्थ करती है धनोरा गाँव के विकास की कहानी। धौलपुर (राजस्थान) का अति पिछड़ा गाँव, जो विकास की मुख्य धारा से कोसों दूर था, परंतु ग्रामीणों के सहयोग, प्रशासन की सहायता और EcoNeeds फ़ाउंडेशन के प्रयासों ने इस गाँव को स्मार्ट गाँव में बदल दिया। अभी तक जो काम हुए हैं, वो हैं: १. ज़िला प्रशासन द्वारा 822 शौचालयों का निर्माण और लोगों द्वारा उपयोग शुरू। २. धौलपुर ज़िले का पहला ओडीएफ़(Open defecation free) पंचायत घोषित। ३.देश का संभवतया पहला गाँव जिसमें सीवरेज लाइन और ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट का निर्माण पूरा। इस हेतु अत्याधुनिक टेक्नॉलजी' का उपयोग। ४. गाँव का रोड ५ फ़ीट से चोड़ा होकर १४ फ़ीट तक हुआ। गाँव के अंदर पूरा रास्ता ६ इंच सीसी, जो कि अंतर्राष्ट्रीय लेवल का है, बनकर तैयार। ५. गाँव का ३ड़ी मैपिंग पूरी जो कि जो कि डिजिटल विलिज की और एक क़दम। ६. पानी बचाने के प्रयास के तहत दो किलोमीटर नाले का निर्माण। ७. लोगों के चरित्र निर्माण हेतु शराब बंदी, जुआबंदी पर काम जारी। ८."अपराध मुक्त गाँव" (no criminal case pendi...

"Success story of Smart Village Dhanora of Dholpur, Rajasthan"        Dhanora is a small village of Rajasthan which is 30 km away from Dhaulpur district headquarters and is 248 km away from Jaipur City. The population of the village is around 2000. The village was devoid of its basic needs like sanitation, internal roads. A report by WHO/UNICEF Joint Monitoring Programme for Water Supply and Sanitation (JMP) (http://www.unicef.org/media/files/JMP-2010Final.pdf) says “Indians comprised 58 percent of all people who defecate in the open.  Eighteen percent of urban India still defecates in the open while the percentage of rural India is as high as 69 percent.”  It is scientific facts that open defecation or lack of sanitation is a major factor in causing various diseases like- diarrhea and intestinal worm infections, typhoid, cholera, hepatitis, polio, trachoma and others. Those countries where open defecation is most widely practiced have the highest numbers of deaths of children under the age of five, as well as, high levels of under nutrition, high levels of poverty and huge disparities between the rich and poor. मुझे बचपन से ही डायरी लिखने का शौक रहा है। मेरी डायरी का एक पसंदीदा लेख, जो मैंने 17.02.2004 को लिखा था, मेरे दिल की आवाज़ को वया करता है और आज भी मेरे दिल को छु जाता है। इसके अंदर निहित भावनाओं की ओर मैं आपका ध्यान चाहता हूँ और भाषा के लिए क्षमा।  इसे तात्कालिक परिस्थितियों  के संदर्भ में पढ़ा जाय तो ज्यादा उपयुक्त होगा। "राजग सरकार  'फील गुड' का प्रचार ज़ोर-शोर से कर रही है। सरकार द्वारा किए जा रहे प्रचार ने व्यक्ति की आँखों के सामने विकास का पर्दा डाल दिया है। जिससे सामान्य व्यक्ति, वास्तविक   स्थिति का निर्णय नहीं कर पा रहा है। फील गुड का प्रभाव कहाँ दिखाई दे रहा है? केवल शहरों की आधुनिक सुविधाओं के विकास में? विदेशी मुद्रा भंडार की वृद्धि में? या शेयर बाजार की ऊंचाई में? क्या सरकार इन्हीं के आधार पर फील गुड  का प्रचार कर रही है?  ये कैसी विडम्बना है कि दिल्ली के वातानुकूलित कमरों में बैठ कर देश कि नव्ज देखी जा रही है। एक ओर गरीब व्यक्ति दो जून की रोटी के  लिए संघर्षरत है। बेरोजगार व्यक्ति बेरोजगारी से त्रस्त है। उन्हें रोजगार देनेवाला कोई नहीं...

मेरा नाम गुड्डी है। मेरी काकी (माँ) मुझे प्यार से गुड़िया बुलाती है। मैं धौलपुर जिले (राजस्थान) के एक छोटे से गाँव में पली-बढ़ी हूँ। मेरे पिता किसान हैं। काकी घर के काम के साथ-साथ खेत के काम में भी काका (पिता) का हाथ बटाती है। पशुओं का काम भी काकी करती है। काका के पास एक बीघा खेत, दो भैंस और एक गाय है। घर का प्रतिदिन का खर्च दूध बेच कर चलता है। खेत की कमाई में से साहूकार का पैसा दिया जाता है, जो साल भर विभिन्न ख़र्चों, जैसे दवाइयों का खर्च, त्योहारों का खर्च, हमारे वार्षिक कपड़ों का खर्च, भात-पछ का खर्च (gifts have to be given to sisters and daughters on various occasion) इत्यादि के लिए लिया जाता है। काका हमेशा मूल धन से ज्यादा व्याज का पैसा साहूकार को चुकाते हैं। हाँ, काका का सपना है कि अपना भी एक पक्का घर हो और इसलिए काका कुछ-कुछ पैसा उसके लिए बचाते हैं।      मैं काकी के लिए खुशकिस्मती लेकर नहीं आई क्योंकि मैं काकी की तीसरी बेटी हूँ और बेटी को वारिस नहीं माना जाता है। दादा-दादी काकी को उलाहना देते हैं कि वह उनके परिवार को वारिस नहीं दे सकती। बेटी तो पराया धन होता है...

मैंने, ग्रामीण पृष्ठभूमि से होने के कारण,  ग्रामीण जीवन की बारीकियों और सच्चाईयों को  बहुत नजदीक से देखा है और आज भी बहुत करीब से देखता और महसूस करता हूँ । ग्रामीण जीवन की सुंदरता और कठिनाईयों को कवियों और लेखकों ने अपनी अपनी लेखनी से समाज के सामने उकेरा है और उनकी ओर ध्यान खींचा है। मैं ग्रामीण जीवन की उन वास्तविकताओं की ओर आप का ध्यान आकर्षित करना चाहता हूँ जो आज भी उनके विकास की सबसे बड़ी बाधा है। वर्तमान आर्थिक समाज की सच्चाई यह है कि अच्छा कमाने के लिए, आपको अच्छा पढ़ा लिखा होना चाहिए। इंग्लिश भाषा में इसे "Development as good human resource" कहा जाता है।  अच्छी पढ़ाई करने के लिए आपको अच्छे विद्यालयों  और अच्छे अध्यापकों की शख्त  आवश्यकता  होती है और इससे भी बड़ी आवश्यकता होती है कि बच्चे को विद्यालय भेजने और पढ़ाने  कि माँ-बाप की क्षमता।  ये स्वीकार्य सत्य है कि 67 वर्षों में भी हम अच्छे विद्यालय नहीं बना पाये हैं और गावों की स्थिति तो और भी भयावह  है।  शिक्षा की बुनियादी आवश्यक्ताओं  जैसे  बिल्डिंग, बिजल...
