"स्मार्ट गाँव धनौरा के विकास की कहानी"
"जहाँ चाह वहाँ राह" इस कथनी को चरितार्थ करती है धनोरा गाँव के विकास की कहानी। धौलपुर (राजस्थान) का अति पिछड़ा गाँव, जो विकास की मुख्य धारा से कोसों दूर था, परंतु ग्रामीणों के सहयोग, प्रशासन की सहायता और EcoNeeds फ़ाउंडेशन के प्रयासों ने इस गाँव को स्मार्ट गाँव में बदल दिया। अभी तक जो काम हुए हैं, वो हैं:
१. ज़िला प्रशासन द्वारा 822 शौचालयों का निर्माण और लोगों द्वारा उपयोग शुरू।
२. धौलपुर ज़िले का पहला ओडीएफ़(Open defecation free) पंचायत घोषित।
३.देश का संभवतया पहला गाँव जिसमें सीवरेज लाइन और ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट का निर्माण पूरा। इस हेतु अत्याधुनिक टेक्नॉलजी' का उपयोग।
४. गाँव का रोड ५ फ़ीट से चोड़ा होकर १४ फ़ीट तक हुआ। गाँव के अंदर पूरा रास्ता ६ इंच सीसी, जो कि अंतर्राष्ट्रीय लेवल का है, बनकर तैयार।
५. गाँव का ३ड़ी मैपिंग पूरी जो कि जो कि डिजिटल विलिज की और एक क़दम।
६. पानी बचाने के प्रयास के तहत दो किलोमीटर नाले का निर्माण।
७. लोगों के चरित्र निर्माण हेतु शराब बंदी, जुआबंदी पर काम जारी।
८."अपराध मुक्त गाँव" (no criminal case pending in the village)
अभी बहुत कुछ होना बाक़ी है। जैसे- कम्यूनिटी सेंटर, लाईब्रेरी, इन्फ़र्मेशन सेंटर, meditation सेंटर इत्यादि।

We are extremely happy to share that the national media (English ) has also reached in our remote village to see and cover our initiatives of the first smart village of India in Dhanora, Dhaulpur. Today's Hindustan Times's coverage in all India Addition. We just want to encourage the people that " जहाँ चाह वहाँ राह". The government alone cannot develop the country, active participation of major stakeholder i.e. we people of India could do the wonders. The Government is already there, good people are also there to help. So come forward, take help of government machinery and good people to make our country and this world a better place to live and make it a better place for future generation. Jai Hind
